Tara started her makeup journey in 2016 by practicing and doing makeup on herself, friends, and family. She’s always been creative and would later find this to be her passion. In 2017, Tara officially became a self taught makeup artist and started accepting clients providing makeup services for numerous events such as weddings, photo shoots, and prom.

While being new in the makeup industry she wanted to take her career to the next level and became a beauty advisor for the very prestigious makeup and skin care brand Lancôme. Tara was able to gain more knowledge about working with different skin tones and face shapes, but her love for beauty did not stop there!

In 2020 she created her own makeup line Tara J Beauty with just only as few lip glosses. Even though the lip glosses did very well, she had dreams of doing even more! One year later Tara J Beauty was relaunched and now an array of products and accessories are available for everyone to enjoy. She now also offers one on one makeup lessons and provides makeup tutorials on YouTube!
